Business Perspectives in Virtual Environments (Media-Minds 3)

Our new series "Media-Minds" yields valuable and
mind-bending insights into the relations between today`s technology,
culture, and society.
This volume intends to provide readers with an overview of "post mortem" business
activities in "Second Life" and other selected important virtual
environments so far, with the main focus of the book on exploring
possible future applications and business models. As future business
models are perhaps the most discussed and least understood aspect of
the web, the book also includes expert analyses of user-avatar
relationships and the emotional impact of virtual environments.
